Parking is available in the adjoining Thorncombe Wood Car Park (NGR SY 724922). I’m very much looking forward to welcoming you all on this walk which will be starting from outside the Hardy Visitor Centre at 10.00 am. Please see the message below from walk guide Dr Tony Fincham: *** There is a parking fee applicable at the Thorncombe Woods Visitor Centre car park of £1 per hour *** *** Could all attendees who are also members of the National Trust please bring your membership card with you for entrance into the Bockhampton Cottage Gardens! *** Lunch afterwards may be purchased at the Visitor Centre. The weather is unpredictable in April and there could be sections of mud. ![]() Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
